Billy Richardson is a lifelong resident of Hawley. He served on the City Council for a total of 8 years prior. He also served on the EDC for 2 years. He went to school from kindergarten through High School at Hawley. He has lived here since 1966. He worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for the City of Abilene for 24 years.  Billy currently works for Circle D Trucks in Abilene.

Billy is married to Shannon Richardson. They have five children:  Brittany, Mike, Ryder, Jade, and Sophia. They have one grandson Liam. Mike serves in the Army and Ryder serves in the Navy.

Billy believes in the spirit of community. He has shown this to our city by helping when anyone needs it. He is dedicated and hard working. He enjoys serving each and every member of our community and is always here with an open mind. He is willing to listen to concerns and needs of our citizens.
